Of “course” you caught that! That’s what I get for typing quickly and when tired. Fixed now.

And, unsurprisingly, I thought about Leinigen and the Ants about a million times on that trip–though I’d forgotten the name of the story. Just the other week in Beijing, however, Saki came up in quiz night discussion with my friend K., who had loved Sredni Vashtar as a kid as much as we both did, despite growing up in Greece! :)

And yes Ants swim, after a fashion–or have you forgotten the Brazilian strory of Leinigen and the Ants? (They cut and used leaf boats…
